Founded
by Saint Clare and Saint Francis in Assisi the Poor Clares now
have communities all round the world. Contemplative Communities
with lives centred on prayer in praise of God, and in intercession
for the needs of others. We welcome you to this contact with our
Monastery in Scotland, which was founded from Ireland in 1952.
